Starting the day early with a two hour drive to get to Walcot Hall to shoot the wedding day for Kate and Matt. I really didn’t mind as I pulled up to the venue – I knew it would be an incredible day!
As I reach the front to Walcot Hall I pulled over to grab a few shots of the old sign and classic stately home drive… I knew this was going to be a really special wedding.
Starting the day
Staring the day I got to work getting photos of Matt and his groomsmen getting ready, I instantly liked them and their banter about The Beatles and a missing groomsmen’s suit and best man’s subsequent 70 mile drive to retrieve it which had me chuckling.
Making my way upstairs to meet Kate and her bridesmaids I realised how big an interesting Walcot Hall was. I was liking the venue more and more by the minute.
The wedding itself was held in the beautiful hall at the bottom of an old oak staircase which Kate walked down with her father towards Matt standing at the end of the aisle.
After the ceremony they walk edit to a shower of confetti and I got down to business getting the group photos and their couple shots in the wooded area. We even found an amazing green Church straight out of an American film set in the Deep South!
I remember each wedding I’ve photographed and each one is also special to me.
I’d really love to photograph your Shropshire Wedding so please get in touch today to see if I’m available for your day.
